TCC-270 Shunting Centricleaners form an efficient system for removing light-weight contaminants, such as plastics, hotmelts, waxes and styrofoams. The system also removes shives and pitch formations efficiently. It is designed to be located either before or after the TCC heavy reject centricleaner system. In fact, the two designs have a considerable number of common parts. TCC-270 Shunting Centricleaners system is a pulp thickener, with a thickening factor between 1.0-2.5 times. The higher the thickening factor, the higher the efficiency with which lightweight rejects can be removed. The thickening effect can minimize the need for other dewatering equipment.
